National Labor Survey February 2018 and Informal Workers Survey (SPIN) 2018

Sakernas are held specifically to collect data that can describe the general state of employment between enumeration periods. In general, the purpose of data collection through Sakernas is to provide key data related to sustainable employment. Specifically, to obtain information on the number of working population, unemployment, and residents who have stopped / moved to work and its development at the district / city, provincial, and national levels. Labor data collection through Sakernas has three main objectives.

The three goals are to know the characteristics:

1. Working population;

2. Unemployment and underemployment;

3. The population included in the non-labor force category is that of those who attend school, take care of the household and perform other activities, in addition to personal activities.

In February 2018, in addition to the implementation of Sakernas February 2018 will also be conducted Informal Workers Survey (SPIN) 2018 with the number and sample allocation is equal to Sakernas February 2018, ie 124 census blocks spread over 13 districts / cities in South Kalimantan Province. Activity of Sakernas and SPIN 2018 will be held on February 8-28, 2018.
