Polstat STIS Launching: Towards a World Class College

Jakarta - "Statistics Polytechnic STIS must continue to make transformation efforts to realize the ideals of becoming a world-class university", the message Minister of Administrative Reform & Bureaucracy Reform RI @asmanabnur at Launching Statisitika Polytechnic STIS (Polstat STIS) today (28/3 ) at the STIS Polytic Auditorium.

Asman mentions three important points to be his plan, namely high school graduates will be deployed in all ministries / institutions and agencies in the region; the official campus should be green (green); and will be pursued the capacity and quality of world-class campus maximum in 2024.

College of Statistics (STIS) changed its name to Polstat STIS on October 17, 2017. Head of BPS, Kecuk Suhariyanto said the curriculum applied in Polstat STIS has its own specificity which is different from similar study program in other universities. The portion of courses related to survey or sampling method, as well as official statistics will get a larger portion.

"Statistics STIS Polytechnic has a vision or dream to be a qualified and superior university in the field of applied statistics and statistical computing that gives real contribution to the National and International Statistical System," said Kecuk.
