Integrated Officer Training of BPS Distribution Survey of South Kalimantan Province

Regarding Idul Fitri celebration on June 25, 2018, BPS activities were opened with integrated training for the distribution statistics section. The surveys discussed in this training are the Inter-regional Trade Survey (PAW), Pollution Distribution Survey (POLDIS), the Quarterly Survey of Business Activities (STKU), and the Market Profile Survey of 2018. The series of four surveys were conducted in order to support the integration of distribution patterns and inter-regional trade. The result of this activity is expected to give a description of domestic trade distribution pattern as a reference for the construction of a more efficient distribution system of trade.

In addition, the training also continued with materials on the Archipelago Tourist Survey (WISNUS). Although the presence of tourists does not bring in foreign exchange, but the activities undertaken by tourists in travel such as shopping, accommodation, and transportation can drive the local economy.
