Abstract

South Kalimantan's economy in the fourth quarter-2015 is measured by the amount of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) reached Rp 35.30 trillion.

In terms of business field, the largest added value is generated by mining and quarrying categories (22.32%). In terms of expenditure, household consumption expenditure is the main driver of GRDP (46.92%).

Compared to the same period a year ago (Quarter IV-2014 / y-o-y), South Kalimantan's economy grew 4.14%.

Up to quarter IV-2015, South Kalimantan's economy grew by 3.84% compared to the same period last year (quarter IV-2014) / c-to-c. In terms of production, the largest contribution to growth is due to the growth of large and retail trade categories. In terms of expenditure, the largest growth was contributed by domestic consumption component, especially household consumption.
