Abstract

• The occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in Kalimantan Selatan in May 2018 amounted to 52.20 percent, down 7.88 points compared to the April 2018 TPK of 60.08 percent. Compared to May's TPR of 2017 of 47.82 percent, the ROR of May 2018 rose by 4.38 points.

• The average stay duration (RTLM) of foreign and domestic guests (domestic) at the May 2018 star hotel is 1.67 nights, down 0.13. When compared to the same period of the previous year that is in May 2017 which amounted to 1.65 nights, RTLM in May 2018 increased for 0.02 nights.

• The number of air transport passengers departing via airports in Kalimantan Selatan during May 2018 was 166,171 people, down 3.59 percent from last month. The number of sea transport passengers departing through Trisakti Port Banjarmasin in May 2018 was 892 people up 46.95 percent. While the number of goods contained in Trisakti Port in May 2018 amounted to 769,287 tons an increase of 23.01 percent.
