Abstract

• In March 2019, inflation occurred in the city of 0.27 percent. The inflation rate for the 2019 calendar (March 2019 against December 2018) is 1.01 percent and the inflation rate of "year on year" is 3.19 percent. Commodities experiencing a price increase with the highest share of inflation in the city of Banjarmasin include air transportation, biscuits, tuna / ambu-ambu, papuyu fish, hospital fares.
• In Tanjung City, in March 2019 there was an inflation of 0.07 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year 2019 (March 2019 against December 2018) inflation was 0.16 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" was 1.68 percent. Commodities experiencing price increases with the highest share of inflation in Tanjung City include: long beans, shallots, sweet corn, garlic, sand.

• Out of 82 cities that calculated the consumer price index, there were 51 cities experiencing inflation, 31 cities experiencing deflation. The highest inflation in Ambon city was 0.86 percent, and the lowest was in Tanggerang by 0.01 percent. The highest deflation in Tual was 3.03 percent, and the lowest in Palembang was 0.01
