Abstract

• In March 2019 the South Kalimantan NTP was 95.05, down 0.78 percent compared to the February 2019 NTP which reached 95.79. The decline in NTP was due to the index of prices received by farmers (It) fell by 0.42 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.36 percent.

• In March 2019 in rural areas of South Kalimantan experienced inflation of 0.45 percent, where the entire group price index increased around 0.09 - 0.72 percent. The highest foodstuffs group rose 0.72 percent.

• The exchange rate of Agriculture Domestic Business (NTUP) in South Kalimantan in March 2019 amounted to 103.30 or decreased by 0.55 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month which reached 103.88.

• The average grain price of Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) quality at the farm level fell 8.03 percent, from Rp 5,364.92 per Kg in February 2019 to Rp 4,934.25 per kg in March 2019. Likewise the price of grain in the milling rate fell 7.98 percent from Rp 5,461.60 per kg in February 2019 to Rp 5,025.80 per kg in March 2019.
