New Student Admission STIS 2016/2017

The College of Statistics (STIS), originally named the Academy of Statistics (AIS), is a state-run college run by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) since 1958. STIS has the vision to be a qualified and superior educational institution in the field of statistics.

In the academic year 2016/2017, STIS organizes the study program:

Diploma III (D-III) Statistics

Diploma IV (D-IV) Statistics

Diploma IV (D-IV) Statistical Computing

D-III study program taken for 3 years. Graduates of the STIS D-III study program are called Statistics Experts (A. Md. Stat.) And will be placed as District Statistics Coordinators (KSK) in certain locations in Indonesia (East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, North Maluku, West Papua and Papua).

D-IV Study Program is taken for 4 years. Graduates of the STIS D-IV study program are designated Bachelor of Applied Statistics (S. Tr. Stat.) And will be placed as statistical / statistical computing experts at BPS offices throughout Indonesia.

STIS will receive as many as 100 people for D-III study program and 400 people for D-IV study program.

STIS student status is divided into two, namely the Association of Office and Task Learning.

Commitment to work for the government after graduation. Students of Ikatan Dinas are graduates of Senior High School / MA who after graduated from STIS will be appointed as Candidate of Civil Servant and then placed in BPS work unit throughout Indonesia up to district / city level. Graduates of STIS with service obligation status must undergo bundled service with BPS in accordance with its placement for two consecutive educational periods.

During the period of education, students are not burdened with tuition fees and receive an official bond allowance in accordance with applicable regulations.

Task Learning. Selection path for those who have status as civil servant (PNS), permanent employee in BUMN / BUMD, or member of TNI / POLRI, and have completed high school / MA majoring in science, which is assigned by related institution to follow education in STIS . The cost of education is borne by the assigning agency.
