Rice Paddy Conversion Survey (SKGB) 2018

The availability of quality food statistics as a reference in planning, monitoring, and evaluation is crucial as it affects the effectiveness of decision making. Rice production statistics, one of the most strategic and important food statistics, is generated from the multiplication of harvested area data with productivity data as well as the conversion rate of Cassava Harvest (GKP) to dry milled grain (GKG).

In addition to rice production data, data required by the government in the formulation of food policy is the production data in the form of rice. Calculation of rice production is done by using the conversion rate of GKG to rice.

The Rice-Paddy Conversion Survey was conducted in 34 provinces. The survey was conducted in two stages, ie March - April representing the rainy season and in May - August 2018 representing the dry season.
