Abstract

• In March 2018 South Kalimantan's NTP recorded 96.31, down 1.24 percent compared to NTP in February 2018 which reached 97.52. The decline in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) decreased by 0.96 percent, and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.28 percent.

• In March 2018 in rural areas South Kalimantan experienced inflation of 0.20 percent, the price index rose across all subgroups, except the subgroup of foodstuffs fell 0.04 percent.

• Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of South Kalimantan in March 2018 was 103.86 or decreased by 1.48 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month which reached 105.42.

• The average price of grain quality of dry harvest (GKP) at the farm level fell by 4.11 percent, from Rp 5,408.52 per kg in February 2018 to Rp 5,185.98 per kg in March 2018. While the price of grain at the level milling fell 3.94 percent from Rp 5,509.39 per kg in February 2018 to Rp 5,292.54 per kg in March 2018.
