Abstract

• In May 2018, in Kota Banjarmasin there was an inflation of 0.14 percent. The calendar inflation rate in 2018 (May 2018 to December 2017) was 0.69 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 2.67 percent. Commodities that experienced price increases with the highest inflation share in Banjarmasin City include eggs of chicken race, mackerel / bloat, chicken meat, onion, papuyu fish.
• In Kota Tanjung, in May 2018 experienced inflation of 0.35 percent. The calendar inflation rate of 2018 (May 2018 to December 2017) was inflation of 2.05 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 4.02 percent. Commodities that experienced price increases with the highest inflation rate in Tanjung City include: chicken meat, house rent, long bean, gold jewelry, cassava leaf.
• Of the 82 cities that calculated the consumer price index, 65 cities experienced inflation, 17 cities of deflation, the highest inflation in Tual city of 1.88 percent, and the lowest in the towns of Purwokerto and the city of Tengerang by 0.01 percent respectively and the highest deflation in Pangkal Pinang city of 0.99 percent lowest in Pematang Siantar city by 0.01 percent.
