Abstract

• The occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in South Kalimantan in April 2018 amounted to 60.08 percent, down 6.09 points from 66.17 percent in the same period in March 2018. Compared to the April 2017 TPK of 51.47 percent, the ROR of April 2018 increased by 8.61 points.

• The average stay duration (RTLM) of foreign and domestic guests (domestic) at April 2018 star hotels is 1.80 nights, down 0.05 per night. When compared to the same period of the previous year ie April 2017 which amounted to 1.70 nights, RTLM in April 2018 was increased for 0.10 nights.

• The number of air transport passengers departing via airports in South Kalimantan during April 2018 was 172,353 people, up 0.39 percent from last month. The number of sea transport passengers departing through Trisakti Port of Banjarmasin in April 2018 as many as 607 people fell 4.11 percent. While the number of goods contained in Port of Trisakti in April 2018 amounted to 625,401 tons an increase of 5.32 percent.
