October 1, 2018 | BPS Activities
The Potential Horticulture Survey in 2018 (SHOPI2018) is a series of activities to develop a methodology for horticultural data collection. In this activity, census block listings and enumeration of selected sample households use Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) technology where each officer will be equipped with a tablet.
In 2018 there will be a Potential Horticulture Survey (SHOPI2018) with a range of four commodities, namely Red Onion, Garlic, Big Chili, and Chili Rawit and a sample of 1,024 census blocks consisting of 10,240 households spread across 14 provinces in 16 districts. The survey activity was carried out as a refinement of SHOPI2017 and follow-up of the survey using the previous household approach method. The sampling method used will apply a method that can improve the accuracy of the results of estimation and binding quality of each stage of the survey using international standards. Survey management will refer to the Central Bureau of Statistical Business Process Model (BPS SBPM). Whereas for survey data quality assurance refers to the Quality Assurance Framework Statistics Agency (BPS QAF).
