Abstract

The export value of South Kalimantan in January 2013 reached U.S. $ 791.21 million, up 7.88 percent compared to exports in December 2012 reached U.S. $ 733.42 million, down 5.56 percent when compared with the value of exports in January 2012 at U.S. $ 837, 78 million.

The main contributor to the largest export commodity in South Kalimantan in January 2013 based on the code of the Harmonized System (HS) is a two digit commodity group mineral fuels (HS 27) with a value of U.S. $ 676.74 million, the goods fats & oils animal / vegetable (HS 15) with value of U.S. $ 78.77 million and the ore, crust and metal (HS 26) with a value of U.S. $ 15.00 million.

The main countries of export destination in South Kalimantan in January 2013 was to China with U.S. $ 24.56 million, India with U.S. $ 186.03 million, and Japan with U.S. $ 147.10 million.

The value of imports of South Kalimantan in January 2013 amounted to U.S. $ 522.09 million, up 59.41 percent compared with the value of imports in December 2012 reached U.S. $ 327.50 million, while the value of imports compared to January 2011 increased by 120, 22 percent of the time it was valued at U.S. $ 237.08 million.
