Abstract

South Kalimantan export value in May 2013 reached U.S. $ 788.78 million, up 9.05 percent over the month of April 2013 the exports reached U.S. $ 723.33 million, down 10.61 percent compared to the month of May 2012 the export value of U.S. $ 882, 40 million.

The main commodity export biggest contributor South Kalimantan in May 2013 based on code Harmonized System (HS) 2 digits are mineral fuels (HS 27) with a value of U.S. $ 675.99 million, followed by fats and oils of animal / vegetable (HS 15) with value of U.S. $ 72.13 million and a group of ores, slag, ash and metals (HS 26) with a value of U.S. $ 19.70 million.

The main countries of export destination South Kalimantan in May 2013 was to China with U.S. $ 249.62 million, India with a value of U.S. $ 207.39 million and Japan with U.S. $ 112.61 million.

The value of imports of South Kalimantan in May 2013 amounted to U.S. $ 179.11 million, down 42.01 percent compared to the value of imports in April 2013, which reached U.S. $ 308.87 million, while the value of imports compared to the month of May 2012 fell by 55, 94 percent of the time it was valued at U.S. $ 406.55 million.
