Abstract

• The occupancy rate of star-rated hotels in South Kalimantan in March 2018 amounted to 66.17 percent, up 10.74 points compared to the ROR of February 2018 of 55.43 percent. Compared to the March 2017 TPK of 50.70 percent, the ROR of March 2018 rose by 15.47 points.

• Average Stay Length (RTLM) of foreign and domestic guests (domestic) at March 2018 star hotels is 1.85 nights, up 0.32 a night. When compared to the same period of the previous year that is March 2017 which amounted to 1.80 nights, RTLM in March 2018 increased for 0.05 nights.

• The number of air transport passengers departing via airports in South Kalimantan during March 2018 was 171,689 people, up 15.22 percent from last month. The number of sea transport passengers departing through Trisakti Port Banjarmasin in March 2018 as many as 594 people rose 17.62 percent. While the number of goods contained in Port Trisakti in March 2018 amounted to 641,188 tons, a decrease of 3.01 percent.
