Abstract

• The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Kalimantan in August 2018 amounted to 62.98 percent, an increase of 4.58 points compared to July 2018's TPK of 58.40 percent. Compared to the August 2017 TPK of 51.88 percent, the August 2018 TPK rose by 11.10 points.
• The average length of stay (RTLM) of foreign and domestic (domestic) guests at the star hotel in August 2018 is 1.82 nights, up 0.13 nights. When compared to the same period of the previous year, namely August 2017 which was 1.63 nights, RTLM in August 2018 occurred an increase of 0.19 nights.
• The number of air transport passengers who departed through the airport in South Kalimantan during August 2018 was 172,421 people, down 20.26 percent from last month. The number of passengers coming through the airport in South Kalimantan during August 2018 was 175,982 people, up 4.05 percent compared to July 2018.
